ARRIOLA,
COWAN & ARRIOLA is a full service law firm, with a strong
background and established presence in the Western Pacific, particularly
the Territory of Guam and Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
Led by its senior partner, Joaquin C. Arriola, it is Guam's oldest
established law office.
The firm currently has five lawyers, all of whom have graduated
from the finest American law schools, and are licensed to practice
in several states. Specifically, the lawyers are admitted to practice
in the courts of Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana
Islands, and the states of California and Minnesota. They are also
admitted to practice in various federal courts, including the United
States District Courts of the above jurisdictions, as well as the
Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Supreme Court.
The firm's practice has also brought them into the courts of the
Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Belau.
The firm's practice emphasizes litigation. The firm also devotes
much of its practice to banking, commercial and corporate transactions,
insurance, probate, and real estate. In addition, the firm has
had much success in criminal defense, domestic relations, admiralty
and maritime law, and appellate advocacy.
